Research Focus: My work focuses on improving the welfare of animals used in science. My thesis explores refinements to standard laboratory mouse handling procedures.
What inspired you to pursue this field of study?
Rodents are the most used animals in scientific research. As a lover of all things related to animals and science, I believe we have a moral duty to improve the lives of research animals (this, in turn, enhances the quality of our science!).
