Research Focus: I’m interested in the intersection of animal welfare and economics, particularly in improving the lives of dairy cattle. My previous research focused on using positive reinforcement training to help cows transition to automatic milking systems.
What inspired you to pursue this field of study?
I spent a summer at the UBC Dairy Education and Research Centre through the APBI 496 Practicum course and quickly fell in love with dairy cows and animal welfare research.
What’s your favourite food?
My partner’s cooking!
